Commission Opening: Sara Rathbun
resigned due to other activities. I will
place the opening on the Village sign.

Maple Terrace
Meeting: I offered to coordinate a
special meeting so they could get their thoughts on the table. They will get back to me with a date. I will
let you know when.
Consumers Power Franchise
Agreement: They are ready to pick
this up again. I am meeting with them tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes.
Heritage
Festival Needs Volunteers a Great Deal:
They are hosting an open house next month to get more
volunteers. More to follow when and
where…
West Michigan
Strategic Alliance Annual Meeting:
They are having it at the Trillium in Ferrysburg this year. 145 business and government leaders are
signed up so far. They asked me to do
the welcome given that I am on the Board and represent the Tri-Cities. It is a free breakfast for all
interested. November 10th at
8:00 AM.
***Upcoming Meetings***
Clean Up of Wetlands to West
of School Street: Saturday, October 30th
at 10 AM to 12 Noon. The Wetlands Watch
group will be helping this goal out. I
will be there also. The more the
merrier.
Halloween: Saturday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Leaf Collection Starts: Monday, November 8th.
Pick up is again on November 22nd.
County Administrator’s
Meeting with Northwest Ottawa Committee Boards: Wednesday,
November 10 at 2 PM at Barber School.
CBDDA: Thursday, November 11th at 7:30 AM in the upstairs
conference room. (Offer of a new, first
time, Christmas Special Trolley Christmas Route from Harbor Transit will be on
the agenda. December 4th for
three weeks.)
Heritage Festival: Tuesday, November 16 th at 6:30 PM at Barber School.
Christmas Dinner: Friday, December 10, 2004 at Barber School.
