Awards
The Village of Spring Lake was designated a Tree City USA in 1993. The Village continues to live up to that award with an extensive tree preservation and planting program. The Village even has its own tree nursery near Central Park.
Village President Bill Filber was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Michigan Municipal League in September 2010.
