Subject:   Next Meeting Agenda - Thursday, December 4, 2004 at 7 PM at
               Barber School

Hi Folks, what follows is an e-mail from Jerry regarding the agenda for next week. I hope to see you then and hope you had a nice Thanksgiving weekend.

Ryan:  For the next meeting, we wish to cover the following items:

1)      Review of existing land use.  We are preparing an existing land use map
of the downtown.  It should be complete today.  In doing the field work
for the existing land use map, we noted the downtown is predominately
office oriented.  Retail is quite limited.  Unlike downtown Grand Haven,
Holland, Rockford, Saugatuck, Ludington, Manistee, etc., the Village's
downtown does not possess a synergistic mix of buisinesses.

2)      Future land use map of the Exchange Street area.  We will use the aerial for this exhibit.  The future land use map will include the street
improvement design concept prepared by Progressive, as previously
reviewed by the Committee.

3)      Design concept discussion.  We will
discuss downtown building and site design ideas.  At this time, we will
not propose specific recommendations.  Rather, we will examine
techniques and ideas.  We hope to have all materials ready by this
Friday (our office is open this Friday.).
