PUBLIC HEARING
A. Rezoning Request – 312 E. Savidge Street
The People Center requests a public hearing for a Zoning Map amendment to rezone the property located at 312 E. Savidge Street, Parcel # 70-03-15-452-017 from SFR-A – Single Family Residential to P – Public, Semi-Public. The purpose of the rezoning request is to make the zoning of the subject parcel consistent with the surrounding parcels and the Future Land Use Map.
B. Special Use Permit – 307 E. Exchange Street, 312 E. Savidge Street and 316 E. Savidge Street.
The People Center requests a public hearing for a Special Use Permit for the existing Community Support Facility located at 307 E. Exchange Street, 312 E. Savidge Street and 316 E. Savidge Street, Spring Lake. The Special Use Permit will permit the transfer of the facility from Christ Community Church to an independent facility owned and operated by the People Center. The facility provides free food, free clothing and free temporary housing for those in need as well as the offices of the organization.
